**WARNING! ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK! YOU WILL STUFF YOUR FACE. **

Those signs should be posted out front because this sweet place is awesome.

Upon entering, you will find the most beautiful display of donuts. I was in such awe that I felt bad asking for them to be removed for consumption. It's like going to the Louvre and asking for them to hand you one of their works of art for your guilty pleasure. There is a selection of vegan donuts, which looked delicious, but I decided to skip and head for all the gluten and sugary unhealthy stuff. They didn't have the fat free/carb free donuts. I will need to keep searching for those mythical donuts on my Yelp adventures.

There is a selection of specialty donuts that include Coco puffs, circus animal cookie, and cinnamon toast crunch just to name a few. I tried the Coco puffs donut and I thought it was good. If you are lucky enough, you will be able to get a fresh red velvet donut. It comes with crumbs or glazed. I was able to sample the one with crumbs. It was still warm because it was freshly made. Also, they will make strawberry filled donuts on the spot.

The cinnamon roll was incredible. This is the first time I had one with chocolate drizzled over it, but there is a first for everything. I went to college. The texture was second to none. The roll held together nicely as I ripped through it, making sure to devour and savor every bite. To top it off, the roll was still warm in the center. It was a reminder of my first time, that I ate the best donut ever of course.

My kids went with their usual/classic pics. Glazed, chocolate donut, etc. with some chocolate milk. They were happy campers and covered with chocolate. For some reason the morning after the 4th of July has been our more recent tradition to have donuts for breakfast. I am glad my son reminded me and to make sure I found a good spot on Yelp.

This is a fun and sweet retreat for all of you in search of the best donut and calories galore. The young lady working the counter was very sweet. She even threw in some donut holes in our box. I don't remember that happening at Voodoo donut. I thought it was inexpensive as well. We ordered 2 milks and 7 donuts for less than $9. That was a win in my book and a little lighter on my wallet. They also have plenty of milk tea options.

There is not much to look at from the outside, but the inside of the shop is like donut heaven or the garden of Eden for donuts (if those places exist). The shop is located off PCH, but not the PCH you may be familiar with from the glitz and glam of TV. This is further north from beachfront property; however, it is located within a mile from I-710. Plenty of parking along the brick wall. Be wary of the parking spots in front of the laundromat. I saw people swinging doors open from their vehicles in a hurry to get rid of that dirty laundry, just an FYI if you don't like door dings.

    I highly recommend this place!

I placed a super last minute special order for my wedding at the beginning of April and Srey was very accommodating (they usually ask for wedding orders to be placed two months in advance). I was so relieved, and because of this, I was able to have a donut wall at my wedding. Everyone enjoyed it. It looked beautiful on display and even better, they were delicious. I had several guests ask me where I got the donuts. Thank you, Sweet Retreat Donuts!

Heaven on earth- a vegan's sweet retreat! Some of the best vegan donuts I've ever had! Original, tasty , beautiful and Vegan ! It's a little pricy but worth every penny! The freshness last and they are a hit with vegans and non vegans alike ! Best days early morning Saturday and Sunday for best selection of vegan donuts! SIDE NOTE:  THEY SO SERVE REGULAR DONUTS AS WELL. Coffee is also delicious and non dairy creamers are available. Outstanding customer service/care- I always have an excellent experience. The decor is absolutely adorable and photo opt ready!! Come by , a sweet or two !!

I came in on a Saturday afternoon looking specifically for Valentine's Day donuts for my boyfriend since we would also be celebrating our 4 year anniversary. The shop didn't have any since the holiday had already passed, but the owners went ABOVE AND BEYOND to meet my needs! After purchasing my regular donuts, the owner went into the back and made a special Valentine's Day donut for me. How sweet!! I couldn't ask for better customer service than what I experienced today.

I highly recommend this donut shop for: sweet treats, great owners, and a variety of coffee and tea drinks to choose from.

Thank you, Sweet Retreat, for making the special donut for my anniversary. You have one happy customer!

Vegans be aware; there donuts contain palm oil. It is not sustainably sourced. Encase the owners are unaware palm oil counts for eight percent of the worlds deforestation (cattle farming is 90 percent). So although palm oil contains no animal products it is responsible for a high amount of biodiversity loss killing many species such as; orangutans, rhinos, tigers, elephants... etc. If you are advertising vegan donuts please don't put in products that kill so many animals every day. I gave two stars even though I did not try the donuts because the owners where nice. There are MANY cheap alternatives to palm oil that are so much better for the environment and animals. If they switch to one of these options I will come back and give them a try!
